• How can I order gift cards from you?

    To create your own personal account, you can register with us here. Once you have submitted your details, we will contact you within 2 working days to let you know if you have been approved to order from us. Once approved, you can then place your orders via your own personal log in.

  • Why do I have to wait to be approved before I place my first order?

    As a responsible retailer, we have to carry out checks and approve all our buyers individually; this process usually takes around 2 working days. Don’t worry though, once you have been approved you will not need to go through this process again.

  • How long does it take for my order to arrive?

    Once your payment has cleared, we’ll aim to have your order with you within 3 working days. We'll send you an email to let you know once your payment has cleared and when your order has been dispatched. Faster Payment is the quickest payment method, taking typically being instant up to a maximum of 2 hours, although you can also use BACS and CHAPS as a payment method.

    If you pay via faster payment, we will approve your order to be dispatched within 24 hours.
    If you pay via CHAPS, we will approve your order to be dispatched within 48 hours.
    If you pay via BACS, we will approve your order to be dispatched within 72 hours.

    Your order will be dispatched within 3 working days of your funds clearing and will require a signature upon delivery. Once you've received your order please log into your account to activate your gift cards.

  • Do you provide open value gift cards so I can choose the amount?

    Yes we do! We offer 3 different designs that are open value, along with pre-denominated gift cards in the values of £5, £10, £20, £25, £50 & £100. When you place your order, you will be able to select the gift cards you want to buy and the amount you want to load on each.

    If you want to view the designs you can choose from, you can see these on the home page of our website.

  • What are my payment options?

    You will receive an invoice from us via email with our bank information. We accept payment via CHAPS, BACS or Faster Payment. 

    If you pay via faster payment, we will approve your order to be dispatched within 24 hours.
    If you pay via CHAPS, we will approve your order to be dispatched within 48 hours.
    If you pay via BACS, we will approve your order to be dispatched within 72 hours.

  • Do gift cards expire?

    Although our gift cards don’t expire, we recommend all our customers use their card once every 2 years to keep the card fully active.

  • Do you offer a discount?

    Yes we do. We offer a very competitive discount rate on bulk gift card orders. Our discount levels are:

    • Orders between £1,000 and £9,999.99 receive 2.5% discount
    • Orders above £10,000+ receive 4%
  • Why are my gift cards inactive?

    As a security measure, we send all our cards out blank. This means that funds are not loaded onto your cards until they are securely in your possession. Once you receive your cards, please log into your online account to activate your gift cards.   • Can I pay with a debit or credit card for my order?

    We don’t accept credit or debit card payments. We accept CHAPS, BACS or Faster Payment as payment on business to business gift card orders.

  • Can I place an order over the phone with you?

    We’re sorry, we don’t accept orders over the phone.

    To place an order with us, you will need to register to become an approved buyer. To register, please fill out the form here. As a responsible retailer, we carry out checks and approve buyers individually, which takes around 2 working days. Don’t worry though, once you’re registered, you will not need to go through this process again. Once you have been approved, you can then place orders online as often as you like.

  • Can gift cards be used for online shopping?

    Unfortunately, our gift cards cannot be used for online groceries however, they can be used on George.com and on anything in our stores, excluding concessions, at petrol stations and lottery.

  • Can my customers check their balances?

    All our customers can check the balances on their gift cards at www.asda.co.uk/giftcards. We recommend all our customers to register their gift cards to protect their balance.

  • How do my customers protect the balances on their gift cards?

    We recommend all our customers to register their gift cards at www.asda.co.uk/giftcards so their balance is protected. If a customer loses their gift card and it isn’t registered, we are unable to replace the card. By registering, the balance is always covered!

  • Can I check the transactions on one of my gift cards?

    Yes, you can use the balance checker on our website, www.asda.co.uk/giftcards

  • I've forgotten my password?

    Please follow the below instructions to reset your password:

    1. Click on the 'forgotten password?' link in the login box.
    2. We will send you a temporary password to your email address. This will allow you to log in.
    3. Once logged in, change your temporary password to something that you'll remember.

  • How much money can I load onto one Gift Card?

    You can load as much or as little as you'd like up to £1,000 onto our cards.

  • My gift card is 'locked' and I can't use it. Why?

    We work hard to stop fraud so all our cards are monitored for unusual activity. Your card will have been locked either because it displayed erratic spending behaviour that was out of the ordinary, or because it has been used before any money has been loaded onto it.

  • Can gift cards be swapped for cash?

    Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash. The balance on the card can be spent in any Asda store excluding 3rd party concessions, lottery tickets, petrol or online.

  • Does the whole balance on a gift card have to be spent in one transaction?

    No. Any unused balance remains on the card, funds can be spent on multiple transactions.
