It may only be September, but we know all too well that Christmas will soon creep up on us, as will the inevitable spend that comes with the holiday season. Have you thought about saving little and often to take the pressure off when December comes? That’s what we encourage our customers to do with our Christmas Savings Card, and we even reward them for being so organised with a bonus too!
The idea of the Asda Christmas Savings Card is a card and key fob, you can keep a card in your purse or wallet to top-up a few pounds here and there with your weekly shop, and give the key fob to another family member who can do the same – the cards are linked so all the savings will stay in one central place. Then when December comes, your savings are simply there at your fingertips, ready to fund your Christmas shopping in any Asda store. You can use your savings on a range of items from gifts to decorations, pigs in blankets to mince pies, and entertainment to Christmas party clothing!
There is no limit to the number of cards you can save and it's a little like a Christmas savings club. You can save up to £144 on each card, which will result in a £6 bonus being rewarded (the equivalent of a 4% bonus on top of your savings!) If you don’t save as much as £144, there are other tiers to the savings and bonus scheme too, saving £97 will result in a £3 bonus and saving £49 will result in a £1 bonus.
You need to have saved the qualifying amount by 5pm on 18th November 2018, the bonus will automatically be paid out after this time, so you don’t even have to do anything to claim your bonus!
To get started, simply pick up your Asda Christmas Savings Card from any Asda Store. You can top up your card at any store at the checkout or Customer Service Desk. Be sure to register your card online to protect the balance just in case you lose it.
