From £27 a year, you can make up to six call-outs a year, if you’re more than a quarter of a mile from home. Maximum vehicle age for new cover is 10 years old.

Response times can vary depending on location and traffic conditions. Asda Money’s partner, Britannia Rescue, aims to be with you within one hour. If there’s a delay, you’ll be kept informed.
Roadside assistance is the most basic level of breakdown cover. It helps if your vehicle breaks down at least a certain distance from home (usually ¼ mile) and typically includes a set number of callouts per year.
More comprehensive breakdown cover (like UK or European Cover) includes roadside assistance but may also offer things like unlimited callouts, home start, onward travel, and more.
Home start (also known as home assist) means you can request help if your vehicle won’t start at or near your home address. Not all levels of cover include this, so it’s worth checking cover details to see if home start is included.
Most standard breakdown policies cover a single vehicle. However, some providers allow you to add a second car for an additional fee.

The offer is available to existing Asda Money Credit Card customers who purchase an Asda Money Breakdown policy using their Asda Money Credit Card on or after 17 May 2023. Each time you purchase an Asda Money Breakdown policy, or your annual autorenewal payment is taken from your credit card, we will increase your Asda Pounds balance by the equivalent of 10% of the cost of the Breakdown policy within 3 days of your transaction being made successfully. For example, if your Breakdown policy costs £20.00, you will receive £2.00 back in Asda Pounds. You can find your Asda Pounds balance in your Asda Money Credit Card app or online servicing account.
Eligibility
This offer is non-transferrable. The offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Offer valid each time an Asda Money Breakdown policy is purchased using an Asda Money Credit Card. You will not receive the reward if you break the terms and conditions of the credit agreement or if your account has been closed before the 10% has been applied. Any Asda Pounds added to your balance may be removed if you receive a refund for any qualifying purchases, such as cancelling your policy.
