Top tips on using your card
- Use contactless worldwide - Tap and pay globally anywhere you see the contactless sign (please note: transaction limits are subject to change and different transaction limits will apply in different countries).
- Always choose local currency - When given the option, always choose to pay in the local currency.
- Have a plan B - Take some cash as a back-up option in case your card is lost or stolen.
- Monitor your travel budget - Check your card balance in the app and top-up when you need to.
- Avoid payment holds - Avoid using the card for hotel deposits, car rentals, automated fuel pumps or toll booths as this can temporarily reduce the available balance.

Can I use my debit card as a travel money card?
Yes, you can use your debit card as a travel money card to pay contactless directly with merchants and to withdraw cash from an ATM. But each time you do, some providers charge a foreign transaction fee
By choosing a Travel Money Card, you don’t pay any of these fees.
