Polish Zloty, often abbreviated as PLN or zł, has been Poland’s official currency. Throughout its history, the Zloty has gone through many reforms including the most recent one in the 1990s. Here’s what you need to know:
Polish Zloty Coins
One Zloty is made up of 100 groszy (gr). Each grosz coin has the number as well as the amount of leaves printed on one side. For example, a 10gr coin will have 10 leaves. Polish coins also have the state title and the eagle coat of arms on the other side.
